"Thanks Joe." Nick said blushing while Jane laughed. They played Apple's to Apple's and then went to bed. The next morning Jane was woken up by Selena and Demi jumping on her. "Morning!" They said together. "So, how'd last night go?" Selena asked. "Fine." Jane replied. She looked at the clock to see that the time was 7:45, "Guys, you do realize it's quater to 8 right?" "Yea." They replied in unison again. "Night." Jane said, closing her eyes and rolling over. "No! Come on, we want to know what happened last night!" Just then Kristen and Amanda walked into the room. "Can you wake up Jane?" Demi asked them. "Why? You won't get anything out of her till 9." Kristen replied. "I know what to do." Amanda said. SHe motioned for Demi and Selena to get off the bed. She went out of the room and came back in a few minutes later with Nick following. When he saw what Amanda wanted him to do he shook his head and headed to the door. Amanda blocked his way out, he sighed and jumed on the bed. He started jumping. "Get off!" Jane yelled. "Come on, It's time to wake up." Nick whispered in her ear. Jane groaned and sat up, "I'm up, I'm up." "Good, our job here is done, see ya later, we're going shopping!" Amanda said. When Kristen and Amanda had left the room Selena asked, "So, what happened last night?" "Ok, fine." Jane replied. Nick had sat next to her, she hugged his arm so he wouldn't leave. She told her tale of the night before, having Nick cut in fro time to time. After the story she asked, "So, what are we doing today?" "We are going apple picking." Nick answered. "With us!" Demi cut in. "Yea, it was supposed to be just you and me, but they invited themselfs along." Nick said. Jane laughed, "That's fine by me." "Come on, get ready. We're leaving in a half an hour." Nick said getting off the bed. They left the room and got ready. She went downstairs and saw all the adults, Frankie, and Nick in the kitchen. "Ready?" Nick asked looking up at her from his spot at the table. "You need a disguise." His mother said. "I got it!" Jane said. "What is it?" Nick asked hesitantly. "You'll wear baggy jeans, a sweatshirt, scarf, and sunglasses. We'll put a hat on you to hide the hair. It's cold outside, so the outfit works, and then we'll say you have a really bad cold and you can't really speak." "That's actually, really good." Mrs. Jonas said. "ok, got it, now can we go?" Nick asked impatient. "ok, don't stay out too late." Nick and Jane walked out of the house to meet Selena and Demi in the car. After 20 minutes they had arrived. "Wow, I never knew this was here." Jane said in awe. (sp) "Yea, Kristen told me about it." Nick replied. There were rows upon rows of apple trees with red luscious apples just waiting, wanting to be picked. "Let's go!" Jane said taking Nick's hand and getting out of the car. They were in line to get their baskets for apple picking when a car pulled up. Out came two girls. "Oh my god." Jane said, her face was expressionless. "What?" Nick asked concerned. "Why do we have to pick the apples? Why can't we buy them? or even better why can't Jamie pick them?" One of the girls complained to the woman in the driver's seat. "I have to go to soccer do-do brain." A voice came from the back of the car. "Honey, settle down, my apple pie only tastes good with freshly picked apples." "Whatever, come on Abby." The girls turned away from the car and spotted Jane with Nick, Selena, and Demi. Thank god they're all in disguises, Jane thought. "Well, hello Jane. Did you make some new friends?" The one who had yelled at her mother asked. ---------------------------------------------- ENDING THERE!! It's not that bad of a cliffhanger! YAY!! I'm getting into them hopefully.
